Electrical for ADUs
We work with ADU builders to plan, size, and install power for accessory dwelling units (ADUs).
We can determine if a 100-amp or 125-amp subpanel is sufficient, or if a full 200-amp main service panel is better for supporting heavy loads like HVAC, electric appliances, solar, and ev chargers.
ADU builders rely on us, a licensed electrical contractor, to perform load calculations, install new wiring, install GFCI outlets and lighting fixtures, install dedicated circuits for refrigerators, stoves, microwaves. We manage the entire process from permitting and rough electrical to installation and final inspection.
Smith Electrical Contractors, Inc. has been serving San Diego County since 2006, and we look forward to working with you on your ADU project.
